Easy Moroccan Fish

Ingredients

  • 6 fish fillets, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Salt and white pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 red bell pepper
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 1 bunch fresh cilantro
  • 1 bunch fresh parsley
  • Paprika, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • 1 can water
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes, optional

Method

    Season fish with salt and white pepper. Pulse garlic, bell pepper, cilantro, and parsley until finely chopped. Saute in olive oil for about 5 minutes, without burning the garlic. Add paprika, red pepper flakes if using, tomato sauce, and water. Simmer gently. Add fish, spoon sauce over top, cover, and simmer about 20 minutes until cooked through. Serve with challah, rice, or couscous.
